Browsing Items

There are three ways to search for available items on Nood Network. First there is a method for browsing the Entire Database.

entire-search.jpg (14152 bytes)

With this method you can Sort the Entire Database by Name, Expiry and Offer Price in either Ascending or Descending order.

Secondly you can perform a complex Criteria search.

criteria-search.jpg (15191 bytes)

With the complex Criteria search you can perform very precise searching. First you can use the Name field, which allows you to narrow your search to anything starting with particular characters. For example if you wanted everything that starts with "Panadol" you would type this into the Name field, then click Search. You can also narrow your search to use the State category and Postcode category. The Postcode category allows you to trade with Nood members who are in close proximity. For example listing 421 will include all items for sale from the postcodes 4210 to 4219. You can also choose a Membership search type. This can range from All Types, or if you want to just purchase from other Hospitals, you can search solely based on other Hospitals. This searching is by far the most complex, as you can use one, two or even all the fields to help refine your search to your custom requirements.

Finally there is one other way you can search the Nood database, and that is by most recent items.

With this option you can list items that have been added or updated on the database in the Last Day, Last Week or in the Last Month.

Purchasing Items

After you have searched the Nood database you can purchase an item by filling in the Item ID and the Quantity fields.

The Item ID is available in the left most column of the data that you would have listed, and the Quantity field is how many you would like to purchase from the available quantity being sold. Once you type in the product id and quantity, that item will be purchased upon pressing the Purchase button. You will then see a screen with the transaction details, and an email will automatically sent to the Owner of that item informing them of the transaction.

A sample purchase screen and email message is available for your viewing.

Selling Items

To add an item to the Nood database, click on the List to Sell button and simply fill in the details as can be seen from the image below.

Once all details are entered, be sure they are correct, and that you really want to sell the item. If you are unsure of the Nood Network Fee structure it is also worth browsing this, as an item will only be de-listed once it has been purchased, or it has expired.

Viewing your Items

To view the items you currently have available for sale. Click on the "Current items that you have listed" link. This will bring up the following screen, listing all your items that you have available on the Network.

The Item ID is the left most field, and this is the item that you would like to update. After you have typed in the ID number, you then need to type the New listing Price of the item. Normally if stock has not sold in the first two weeks, Nood Network recommends you reduce the price of the item by at least 10 percent.

Transaction History

To view your Transaction History simply click on the Transaction History button and it will display all outgoing and incoming transactions. This means it will show what you have purchased, and what you have sold throughout your membership lifetime.

Logout

To ensure you have logged out securely, it is best to click on this button when you have finished on Nood Network for the day. Failure to do this means that someone else in your office / home could potentially use your computer, and make changes to your Nood Network account.
